Mr. Thomas Spence Sclanders.
Mr, Thomas Spence Sclanders, an old colonist, died on April 20, at the ripe age of 91 years (writes our Port Germein correspondent). The deceased gentleman assisted in surveying much of the north country, and was for many years a member of the North Road Board. Up to the day of his death he retained all his faculties, and could see to read his daily paper.
His experiences were interesting. During his long life four British sovereigns passed away—George III., George IV., William IV., and Queen Victoria.5
