OBITUARY
Miss Mary Ann Bass
After a short illness, there passed away in "Crombie" private hospital on Friday Miss Mary Ann Bass, aged 47. Deceased, who was a resident of Grawlin Plains for many years, became ill and died from bronchial pneumonia, accentuated by fatty degeneration of the heart. This makes the third member of the family to have passed away within recent weeks. Her brother, Mr. George Bass, died on November 19, and her mother, Mrs. Sarah Ann. Bass, on December 2. Widespread sympathy will be extended to the surviving brothers, Messrs. William (Narromine), and John and Herbert (Forbes).
The funeral on Saturday afternoon was to the Church of England cemetery, Rev. A. E. White performing the last sad rites at the graveside, while Mr. A. G Jones had charge of the mortuary arrangements.3
