A Selector's Loss.
From Poisoning Rabbits. Condobolin, Wednesday.
Mr. James Whiley, a selector on Borambil, has had 50 pigs poisoned from eating dead rabbits, killed by phosphorised pollard, and by the baits laid for rabbits. His loss amounts to £50. Destroying rabbits by phosphorus is an expensive luxury to the country at large, not counting the value of stock sacrificed.4
