Death* | 3 January 1926 | Orange, NSW, Australia; OBITUARY. MRS. WEEKS. Exceptionally sad circumstances surrounded the death of Mrs. Bernard V. Weeks, of Moulder Street, which occurred shortly after noon on Sunday last. Earlier on that day a little one was born, which survived but a few moments. The mother appeared to be getting on alright, but complications suddenly arose, and she passed away very quickly. Mrs. Weeks was 30 years of age, and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stokes, of Moulder Street, with whom, as well the bereaved husband and two young children, the greatest sympathy is felt. Both mother and child were laid to rest in the Methodist portion of the local cemetery on Monday afternoon, the Rev. T. M. Taylor conducting the burial service. Fellow council employees of Mr. Weeks, as well as members of the Fire Brigade, with which he is associated, were prominent at the funeral.4 |
