Mr. Thomas Albert Skeen died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs Lee, Woodriff Street, Penrith, on Saturday, 4th December, after a short illness, at the age of 81 years. In the early days deceased was engaged in bullock driving, and was in the Railway service until pensioned off 18 years ago. He lived at Kingswood for a great many years, and had bee a resident of the district for about 33 years. He had been living with Mrs Lee since last March. Deceased is survived by the following sons and daughters:—Clara Carter (Lithgow), Alice Thompson (Penrith), Amelia Carter (Kandos), Caroline Lee (Penrith), Harriett Sutton (Penrith), Arthur (Katoomba), William (Lithgow), Ernest (Newtown), Thomas (Katoomba), Charles (Enfield), Percy (Penrith). The funeral took plaice on Sunday in C of E portion of Penrith General Cemetery, the Rev. H. N. Powys conducting the service.6
