Her parents died when she was quite young, and she was reared by her uncle, the late Thomas Williams, of Moorak Station. She was married to Mr. George Simmons at Kaniva, Victoria, in 1893, and went to the Trundle (N.S.W.) district, where Mr. Simmons had taken up Grassdale several years before. Deceased leaves four sons—Ernest, Walter, George, and Leonard—and one daughter, Mrs. Noel Kramer, all of Trundle; and one brother, Mr. Harry Harmer, of Trundle.
The high esteem in which the late Mrs. Simmons was held was evinced by the exceptionally large attendance at the funeral. The procession of cars was one of the largest yet seen in Trundle, many people coming distances of 40 miles to pay their last respects.;Deceased=Margaret Mary Harmer2
