OBITUARY.
It is with much regret we record the death of Flight-Sergeant Fredk. P. Moore, husband of Mrs Moore, of Chambers street, South Yarra, and son of Mr Walter Moore, head gardener at the Victoria Gardens, High street, Prahran, which took place at his residence in Chambers street, South Yarra, last month.
Flight-Sergeant Moore, before he enlisted for active service, was employed as chief engineer on the Pyap Estate, on the river Murray. After his enlistment he went away with the Flying Corps, and saw two years and nine months' service in Egypt, being mentioned in despatches. A week after his return from the front he contracted influenza, and after being ill for a period of seven days he peacefully passed away. Much sympathy is felt for Mrs Moore and her daughter in the loss they have sustained by the death of a loving husband and father. Deceased was accorded a military funeral at the Brighton cemetery, the mortuary arrangements being carried out by Apps and Son. The deceased also leaves three brothers—George and Robert (late of the A.I F.), and Alfred.4,5
