OBITUARY
Mr. E. Lees,
Mr Ebenezer Lees, only surviving son of the late Mr and Mrs Lees, of North Springwood, passed away at his residence, Raymond Rd„ Springwood, on Friday, August 25, at the age of 68 years. Deceased leaves a wife, Mary, and two daughters—Mary (Mrs Davis) and Agnes (Mrs, Gibbs). Deceased was a grand old gentleman, and for 47 years was a church warden at St. Thomas' Church, Springwood. He was highly respected by all who knew him.
A 9 a.m. Mass was held at St. Thomas' Church on Sunday and was largely attended, as was the funeral, which took place at Springwood Cemetery. Rev. Father Galvin, P.P. officiated.4
