WEDDING BELLS.
MEDCALF—HUNT.
A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Michael's R.C. Church, Trundle, on Wednesday, 25th August, when William Baden, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Medcalf, of "Gillenbine," Trundle, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony with Johanna, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Hunt, of "The Troffs." The Rev. Father Sexton performed the ceremony. The church was tastefully decorated for the occasion by the friends of the bride. As the bride entered the church on the arm of her father the choir sang "Battson's Mass." The bride was charmingly gowned in a frock of ivory morocain with side drapings and wore a honiton lace veil, held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms, she carried a shower bouquet of white and pale pink carnations, and maiden hair fern, tied with ribbon and tulle streamers. She was attended by her sister, Mona, as bridesmaid, who wore a dainty frock of pale pink crepe de chene trimmed with lace and black georgette hat to match, she also carried a bouquet of pink carnations and maiden hair fern. The bridegroom was supported by Mr Lal Carey, of "Clonleigh," as best man. During the signing of the register Mr. Murray Moloney sang "Ave Maria," very impressively. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a gold wristlet watch, and the bride's to the bridegroom a set of tortoise shell brushes. After the ceremony the guests adjourned to "The Troffs" where the reception was held, the bride's mother receiving her guests in a grey crepe-de-chene frock, trimmed with beads and wore a black hat to match. The young couple were the recipients of a large number of handsome presents, including many cheques. The happy couple motored to Parkes where they caught the evening train to Orange and Sydney, the bride travelling in a cinnamon ensemble frock, with hat en suite. Mr and Mrs. Medcalf's future home will be at Trundle.
