DEATH OF MRS. HAMS.
Mrs. Caroline Hams,relict of the late Mr. G. S. Hams,and landlady of the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel, Bowden, died suddenly at 5 o'clock on Sunday morning from heart disease. She had been ailing some time, and was attended by Dr. Coombe. She was in her 57th year. When three months old she arrived in South Australia in the Somersetshire with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Potter. With them she resided for a number of years at Hindmarsh and later on at Gawler. At the age of 21 she married Mr. Hams,and for some years resided at Terowie. For nearly seven years she has been living at the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel, and nine months ago Mr. Hams died. She leaves three sons, four daughters, and seven grandchildren.;Principal=Caroline Potter2
