OBITUARY.
Miss E. S. R. Beuzeville
TRUNDLE, Thursday.
It is with deep regret that we have to report the sad death of a highly esteemed resident In the person of Miss (Ciss) Elvena Sophia Rose Beuzeville, of "Fairview," eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Beuzeville. The deceased was born at Forbes, was 57 years of age, and resided here practically all her life. It appears that on Sunday morning last she let her cows out of the yard for a roam, later being unaware of the direction in which they went, she started in search of them, going up to her brother's place (Mr. Fred Beuzeville). Leaving there went in the direction of the main road, and unable to find any trace of the cows, returned back to her brother's place and was speaking to Miss B. Beuzeville, when she complained of not feeling well. After breakfast deceased continued the search, taking with her two of her brother's (Scott's) little girls, and going in the direction of the rubbish tip, when near, the north west corner of the racecourse she tripped over a stump, falling to the ground, and recovering herself she again fell. One of the little girls who accompanied her ran back home, a distance of 3/4 mile, and told deceased's sister what had happened, Elvie (sister of deceased) and Mr. Fred Smith (a neighbour) returned to where deceased fell, and found her quite dead. The remains were brought to her home, where Dr. Blumer pronounced life extinct, the cause of death being heart failure.
Four brothers and two sisters E. J., F. P., E. C. Beuzeville (all of Trundle) and Scott (Warren), Elvie (Trundle), Mrs. T. Paul (Wlngham)—are left to mourn the loss of a loving sister.
After, a short; service at St. Augustine's Church, the large cortege proceeded to the cemetery, and the remains were laid to rest in the Church of England portion, the Rev. Harris performing the last sad rites.
The funeral arrangements were in the hands of Mr. J. T. Cock, of Parkes.
