CONDOBOLIN, Friday.
The show carnival commenced here on Wednesday with acricket match, played between town and country teams. Thetown team had the advantage of having on their side Mr.Percy McDonnell, the well-known Australian cricketer. A large amount of interest was displayed in the match. In thefirst innings Mr. McDonnell scored 112 runs before beingbowled by W. Bassett; the other members of the town team made up 100 runs. The countrv team made 45 in their first innings and 49 in their second innings — total, 94;thus being beaten by one innings and 118 runs.6

THIS is the last Will and Testament of me, Walter Bassett of 29 Edwin St. Tempe in the State of New South Wales I revoke all other wills made by me. I appoint my sons Hedley Edward Cyril Bassett and Leslie Alick Asley Bassett and I declare that all powers be exercised by the survivor to be my Executors, and direct that my Funeral and Testamentary Expenses and all my debts shall be paid as soon conveniently may be my decease. I Give, devise and bequeath unto my wife Emily Arabella Bassett my brick cottage Personal estate, effects and jewellery for her sole use and benefit. Should said Emily Arabella Bassett predecease I hereby devise and bequeath same to my children Hedley Edward Cyril Bassett and Leslie Alick Ashley Bassett and Ella Muriel Harper and Ettie Eileen Solomon in equal shares. It is my wish that brick cottage 29 Edwin St. Tempe not be sold, but that my daughter Ella Muriel Harper refund three quarters of Valuer General Value in cash in equal shares to Hedley Edward Cyril Bassett – Leslie Alick Ashley Bassett and Ettie Eileen Solomon as their just share and I declare that if any of my children shall die in my lifetime leaving a child or children who shall survive me such child shall take and if more than one then equally between them the share which his or her or their parent would have taken under this my will if such parent had survived me and attained a vested interest, IN WITNESS whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand the 23rd day of June, in the year of our Lord one Thousand Nine Hundred and 46.
