WEDDING.
WILSON—BISHOP.
A wedding was celebrated by Rev. M'Laren Scott at the Presbyterian Church, Corowa, on Tuesday, 27th March, in which the representatives of two well-known district families were concerned. The bridegroom was Michael, youngest son of Cr. Thomas Wilson, of Cluster Hills, Balldale, and the bride was Ethel Louise, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bishop, of Glencoe, North Burrajaa. After the wedding about 60 guests sat down at the wedding breakfast provided at the Australian Hotel In Mrs. Hewson's best style. The Rev. M'Laren Scott presided, and the usual toasts were honoured. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was dressed in a robe of white crepe de chine, trimmed with silk applique and shadow lace, with a shell pink train, and wore the customary wreath and veil. The bridesmaids were Miss Eileen Bishop and Miss Christina Wilson. The former wore a dress of pale blue Japanese silk, with Melines lace, and hat of black pane velvet. Miss Wilson wore a smart frock of shell pink silk, with white lace overskirt, and black pane velvet hat. The train bearer was Miss May Bishop, sister of the bride, who was dressed in a becoming costume of white silk, with hat to match. Mr. Randolph Wilson, cousin of the bridegroom, filled the position of groomsman admirably. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a wristlet watch, and to the bridesmaids a gold brooch and signet ring, and bride to bridegroom a gold albert. The party motored to Wahgunyah en route to Melbourne, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride's going away dress was of Saxe blue crepe-de-chine, with hat en suite. The young couple were the recipients of many valuable presents, including a number of cheques.
