DEATHS
Mr. A. H. Whiley
The death occurred at Cowra on Monday of last week of Mr. A. H. Whiley, aged 70, a native of the Orange district.
The late Mr. Whiley was an occasional visitor to Gulgong, where a daughter, Mrs. Jones, wife of Mr. F. A. Jones resides.
Deceased was a retired permanent ways inspector of the Department of Railways.
News of his death was received with profound regret by the whole town and district community of Cowra. The wealth of floral tributes was evidence of his popularity.
He is survived by his widow and two daughters, one being Mrs. H. English, of Cowra.
The funeral took place to the
Church of England portion of the Cowra cemetery.
Our sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones.4
