WOOLLEY—ROBINSON.
All Saints Church, Condobolin, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on the evening of the 29th July last, when Miss Maureen Robinson, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Robinson, Condobolin, was married to Mr. Maynard Woolley, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Woolley, of Blayney. The ceremony was performed by the Ven. Archdeacon Neild. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. William Maitland, looked sweet in her ankle length frock of white petalled georgette, trimmed large bow and diamente, carrying bouquet of hyacinths and fern. Pink and white cut tulle with orange blossoms formed the veil. The bridesmaids were Misses Nita Woolley and Miss Bobbie Brown. They wore pink georgette frocks of tiny frills reaching to their ankles at the back, and carried bouquets of pink carnations, camelias and fern. Noyne, the bride's young sister, also wore pink, and carried a basket of sweet peas, primula and fern.
On the bride entering the church, the choir sang "The Voice that breathed o'er Eden." The church was very prettily decorated, the beautiful silver tinted wedding bell suspended over head being a notable feature. During the signing of the register Mrs. J. Campbell sang "because" and afterwards played the wedding march.
After the ceremony, Mrs. Robinson, mother of the bride wearing floral ring velvet and hat to tone, received the guests at the Masonic Hall. The hall and the tables were prettily decorated with streamers and baskets of beautiful flowers, pink and white predominating. Over sixty sat to the wedding breakfast. The Ven. Archdeacon Neild presided, and the usual toasts were duly honoured. Many congratulatory telegrams were read. The toasting over, the tables were cleared and room made for dancing by the younger people, friends of the bride.
At about 10 p.m. all present bade farewell to the bride and bridegroom, who took their departure by car, the bride travelling in an ensemble of blue, trimmed with grey fur, hat and shoes to tone. The honeymoon is to be spent on a motor tour. The future home of the happy couple is to be in Bingara.
