Death of Mr. W. Potter.—After many years of suffering Mr. William Potter, of Mount Barker, passed away on Sunday. The deceased, who was 59 years of age, was born at Arundel, Sussex, and arrived in the colony in 1852. As a lad he went to Lyndoch Valley, afterwards removing to Koolunga, while about 40 years ago he settled at Mount Barker, where he had resided ever since. The funeral at the Wesleyan Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon was largely attended, and the Rev. Charles Reed officiated at the grave.
