The death occurred in the District Hospital yesterday of Mr. Joseph Lennon, aged 66 years. The deceased gentleman was conveyed to the Hospital during the week having been found very ill near Ashford and was first attended by the Bush Nurse at that centre. A brother, William, who was on his way to see the deceased overturned his car near Manilla and was killed. The surviving members of the family are Messrs. C. Lennon, of “Albro” Farm, Manilla and Henry, of 46 Dennison Street, West Tamworth. The funeral will leave the parlors of the firm of C. S. Thorley to-morrow (Saturday)_at 10 a.m. for the Church of England portion of the local cemetery.1 |
