Wong—Lemon
A very pretty wedding took place at the Church of Epiphany, Northcote (Vic.), on December 12th, 1942, when Marcia, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Lemon or Northcote (Vic.), and Innis, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Wong, of Blanket Flat, were united in the bonds of matrimony. Rev. Canon Thornton officiated.
The bride's dress was of magnolia satin with long train. Her tulle veil was held in place by a halo of pleated tulle and orange blossoms. She carried a sheath of cream water and Christmas lilies. She looked charming as she entered, the church on the arm of her father, by whom she was given away.
The bride was attended by Mrs. C. Edmunds (a close friend), who wore a frock of pale blue marquisite over taffeta and carried a bouquet of pink and blue delphiniums and water lilies.
After the ceremony relatives and close friends were received by the bride's mother at Preston's.
The customary toasts having been honoured the bride cut the beautiful three-tier cake, which was made by the bride groom's sister, Mrs. Day, of Crookwell.
The future home of Mr. and Mrs. Wong will be in Melbourne.;Groom=Hilston Innes Hackney Wong1
