DEATH.
KERSHAW. — At Doubtful Creek, on 24th June, 1922, Samuel Kershaw, beloved father of Mrs. D. McQueen, aged 79 years.6

An erstwhile resident of Tumut, Mr. Samuel Kershaw, died at his daughter's residence at Kyogle, at the age of 81. Deceased, who had been blind for 33 years, went to Tumut when only a lad, afterwards following the occupation of carpenter and builder. His last work in the district was the building of a bridge at Gundagai. He was also one of the workmen employed on the construction of the bridge across the Murrumbidgee. Deceased left there 18 years ago. Three daughters are left to mourn their loss, viz., Emma Jane, Kyogle; Tresa Evelina, Albury; Elizabeth, Tumut.7
