Only admitted to the institution last Thursday, there passed away in the ForbesDistrict Hospital on Sunday morning, Mrs. Nellie May, wife of Mr.H. J. Uphill,of "Kilbonnie,"Forbes, who succumbed to an attack of pneumonia. Deceased, who was 52 years of age, was highly esteemed by a wide circle of friends, not only for her work on behalf of the organisations of the Methodist Church, but for her great interest in the Country Women's Association. In addition to her sorrowing husband, she leaves a family of three sons and one daughter, the latter being Mrs. Hull, of Trundle, while the sons are Messrs. Jack, Keith and Roy, all of Forbes.She is also survived by an aged mother living in Melbourne, while a sister, Mrs. J. McCormack, of Melbourne, journeyed from Melbourne to attend the funeral, which took place to the Methodist portion of the local cemetery yesterday afternoon. Rev. R. A. Gibbons performed the last sad rites at the graveside, while Mr. A. G. Jones had charge of the obsequies.3
