OBITUARY.
It is my sad task this week to chronicle the death of Mr. William McGrath, eldest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Jas. McGrath, of this district. He took ill some thirteen weeks ago, and on medical advice was removed to the Orange Hospital for observation. An operation was performed, which partially succeeded in easing the sufferer, and after a very sad and painful month, he passed away on Thursday last. The remains were interred in the Roman Catholic portion of the local cemetery. We extend our sympathy to the sorrowing relatives, three sisters, Mesdames McKenzie, Pearce and Dwyer, four brothers, Tom, John, Frank, and Denis, and to his mother, who was in constant attendance. The blow is a severe one to her, as Deceased was her only single child.3
