OBITUARY.
MR PEARCE FIELD.
It is with regret we have to report the death of Mr Pearce Field, a highly respected young man of the district, which sad event took place in the local hospital at an early hour on Saturday morning last from double pneumonia. During the recent rains, the deceased, who was only 38 years of age, received a wetting and it was from this that his ultimate end came about after only four days in hospital. The deceased was of splendid physique, and his sudden end came as a surprise to his friends. He was well-known about Bedgerabong, where his late father and members of the family have resided for many years. Deceased is survived by a widow and one child, five brothers and one sister, with whom much sympathy is expressed in their sad hour of affliction. The funeral on Sunday afternoon was largely attended and was to the Church of England portion of the cemetery, Rev. H. H. Mirrington officiating at the graveside.4
