News-Arct*2 December 1924 "The Forbes Advocate", Forbes, NSW, Australia;
DROPPED DEAD
BEDGERABONG MAN'S TRAGIC DEATH.
While sewing bags in his paddock at Bedgerabong yesterday, Mr. Edward Owen Field collapsed from heart failure and died immediately. Mr. Field was working with two other men, and had just carried one bag a short distance when he collapsed.
He was only 46 years of age, and had been in good health so far as his family knew, his sudden end thus causing a tragic shook to his relatives and friends. His father was one of the early selectors of Bedgerabong, being the first selector of Sidbury, in that district.
He leaves a widow and six young sons to mourn their loss, the oldest boy being 15 years of age, and the youngest a baby of only five months. For these and for his three brothers, Grant, Orton and Henry, the greatest sympathy is felt.
The funeral will take place at 3 o'clock this afternoon, the interment to be made in the Church of England cemetery at Bedgerabong.
Mr. T. H. Peasley has charge of the mortuary arrangements.5
