Wedding
Robinson — Carmichael.
A quiet wedding was celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Hornsby, on Wednesday, 31st December, by the Rev. Father Nulty. When Eileen, he second daughter of Mr and Mrs Carmichael of Hornsby, and late of Condobolin, was united in the holy bonds of Matrimony to Gorden Robinson, third son of Mr E. Robinson, of Condobolin. The bride, who was given away by her Father, looked charming in a pretty frock of champagne chiffon taffeta, with over dress of silk georgette, trimmed with seed pearls and silk tassels, and pink hat trimmed with bunches of forget-me-nots. The bride's brother, Master Clarry Carmichael, acted as best man. The bridesmaid Miss Mary Hanlon, friend of the bride, wore a pink silk dress, trimmed with black heads, and black hat, trimmed with pink roses. After the ceremony the happy couple and friends returned to the brides parents residence, where the wedding breakfast was served. The happy pair left the same day for Gosford, the bride travelling in a tailored grey costume, with biscuit coloured hat trimmed with berries.
